Canara Bank Recruitment 2025 Age Limit
-
- Minimum age limit: 20 years
- Maximum age limit: 28 years
- Candidates would not have been born before 01.09.1997 and later not from 01.09.2005 (both inclusive).
Education Qualification
A degree (graduate) in any discipline from the government recognized university. India or any equivalent qualification is recognized by the Central Government. Candidates would not have passed their graduation before 01.01.2022 and later not from 01.09.2025 (both day inclusive).
Salary
-
- A monthly stipend Rs. The trainee will be paid to the trainee 15,000/- (if any, if any, by the Government of India) during the period of apprenticeship training. Trainees are not eligible for any other allowance/ profit.
- Canara Bank will pay 10,500/- to the trainee account on a monthly basis. Government part of rupee stipend. 4500 will be credited to Apprentice Bank Account via DBT mode as per direct guidelines.
- After adjusting the loss of payment, if any, the stipend will be paid to the trainees each month.
Selection process
Local language test
-
- Candidates producing the 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate have studied the specified opted local language, they will not be required to undergo local language tests.
- For other candidates, the test selection for local language knowledge will be conducted as a part of the process. This will be held when the candidate is called for document verification by the bank.
- Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be taken as trainees.
Physical/ medical fitness

- The engagement of selected trainees is subject to being medically declared fit as per the requirement of the bank.
Eligibility
-
- The merit list of those candidates who have applied, they will be prepared by the 12th STD (HSC/10+2)/Diploma Exam on the basis of marks/percentage of the state.
- If more than one candidate has the same percentage, then such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order in merit.
- Minimum qualification marks will not be less than 60% (55% for SC / ST / PWBD candidates) 12th STD (HSC / 10+2) / Diploma Exam.
- The percentage fraction will be ignored IE 59.99% will be considered as less than 60% and 54.99% will be considered less than 55% and will be considered as qualified / unfit for the subject selection process.
- During the online application, merit list will be prepared based on the information submitted by the candidate. In the case of any discrepancy observed at the time of document verification, the application will be summarized.
How to apply
Candidates will have to apply online from 23.09.2025 to 12.10.2025 through the link provided in the bank’s website www.canarabank.bank.in – Career- Recruitment.
The candidate will have to mention his nomination ID generated after applying on the NATS portal while applying for training seats.
Pre-requisite to apply online:

- Scan: Photograph (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm), signature, left thumb impression, hand written announcement
- Signs will not be accepted in big letters
- Photo/ signature/ left thumb impression/ handwritten announcement/ should not be scanned properly and not smudged/ staining
- The above hand -written announcement should be in the hand writing of the candidate and in English and it should not be in big letters. If it is written in any other or any other language, the application will be considered invalid.
- Keep the required details/ documents ready to pay the required application fee/ intimate fee online
Process to apply online:

- Candidates will have to click “Click here for new registration” to register their basic information in the online application form. After that an provisional registration will be generated by the number and password system and displayed on the screen
- Candidates need to upload their photos and signatures as per specifications given in the guidelines for scanning and upload of photographs and signature.
- Candidates should be written correctly in the application when filling their on-line application, the name of the candidate and his father / husband etc. is written in the application as it appears in the certificate / mark sheet.
- Any change / change found can disqualify the candidature.
- Candidates should be named in the online application as it appears in SSC/SSLC/X Standard Marx card.
- If the candidate has changed his name, the changed name should be according to the Gazette notification/ marriage certificate.
- Candidates should fill all areas in the on-line application.
- Candidates are advised to fill the online application carefully as there will be no change in any data filled in the online application.
- Before submitting the online application, candidates are advised to save the details in the online application form and use the next “next” facility and modify the same if necessary.
- No changes are allowed after clicking on the final submit button. Presenting incorrect / incorrect information in the online application will make the candidature invalid.
