RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details

eligibility criteria

• • Ability: Passed 10th class (SSC/Matriculation) from respective State/Union Territory. Candidate must have graduated by 01/01/2026. Candidates having graduation and higher qualification are not eligible to apply.

• • Essential Qualifications: Candidate belonging to Ex-Servicemen category must have passed 10th class (SSC/Matriculation) and must have rendered at least 15 years of defense service, provided he/she has not graduated outside the Armed Forces.

• • Desired: Candidates applying to any recruitment office must be proficient in the language of the State/UT to which that office falls (i.e., must be able to read, write, speak and understand that language).

• • Experience: For candidates who have work experience in Reserve Bank of India, the number of such experience is subject to a maximum of 3 years.

 

Salary/Stipend

• • Selected candidates will get initial basic pay of ₹24,250/- per month in the scale of ₹24250 – 840 (4) – 27610 – 980 (3) – 30550 – 1200 (3) – 34150 -1620 (2) – 37390 – 1990 (4) – 45350 – 2700(2). – Rs 50750 – Rs 2800 (1) – Rs 53550 and other allowances as admissible from time to time.

• • At present, the starting monthly gross emoluments (without HRA) for Office Attendants will be approximately ₹46,029/- per month.

• • If they are not living in the Bank’s accommodation, they will also be given House Rent Allowance of 15% of the salary.

 

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

• • Minimum age: 18 years

• • Maximum Age: 25 years

• • Relaxation in upper age limit: Relaxation in upper age limit will be given as follows:

• • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): Up to 5 years, i.e. up to 30 years

• • Other Backward Class (OBC): Up to 3 years i.e. up to 28 years

• • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): Up to 10 years (General/EWS), 13 years (OBC) and 15 years (SC/ST)

• • Ex-Servicemen: An additional period of 3 years subject to the extent of service rendered by them in the Armed Forces and a maximum of 50 years.

• • Widows/Divorced women/Judicially separated women who have not remarried: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)

• • Candidates having work experience in Reserve Bank of India: To the extent of number of years of such experience, subject to a maximum of 3 years.

RBI Office Attendant Selection Process

The selection process includes two stages:

1. Online Test

• Total Questions: 120

• Total Marks: 120

• Duration: 90 minutes

Subjects:

• Reasoning Ability

• Numerical Ability

• General English

• General Awareness

👉 Negative Marking: ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer.
👉 Candidates must qualify in each section separately.

2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

• Conducted in the local language of the State/UT.

• Qualifying in nature.

• Candidates failing LPT will be disqualified.

• • Candidates can apply online only at this link: “Recruitment for the post of Office Attendant – PY 2025”, and no other mode of application will be accepted.

• • Before applying online, candidates should scan their photograph and signature and ensure that both the photograph and signature comply with the required specifications given under Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature.

• • Candidates should keep the necessary details/documents ready to make online payment of application fee/intimation fee.

• • The candidate must have a valid personal email ID, which must be kept active till the declaration of result.

• • Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions by January 01, 2026 are required to first visit the URL “Recruitment for the post of Office Attendant – PY 2025” in the advertisement page to fill the ‘Online Application’.

• • Candidates have to enter their basic details and upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration in the online application form as per the given specifications.

• • To register the application, select the “Click here for New Registration” tab and enter name, contact details and email-id. A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.

• • If the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he/she can save the already entered data by choosing “Save & Next” tab.
