Role & Responsibilities of PESCO DGM 2026
Each Deputy General Manager role comes with distinct leadership responsibilities:
- DGM (IT): Will serve as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of PESCO, overseeing digital transformation, ERP implementation, cyber security, and acting as the primary liaison with Software Development Agencies.
- DGM (Project & Ventures): Will bridge the gap between ex-servicemen manpower and the private industrial sector in Punjab. Duties include scouting tenders, skill gap analysis, and designing bridge courses with skill development agencies.
- DGM (Security): Will oversee and manage security operations across multiple designated districts.
Selection Process
The selection for the DGM posts will be conducted through a direct interview process:
- Shortlisting: Received applications will be thoroughly scrutinized against the specific eligibility criteria, military rank experience, and educational background.
- Interview: Only eligible and shortlisted officers will be called for a personal interview. The date and venue of the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates directly.
