Selection Process for PSSSB Group D Recruitment 2026
The Subordinate Services Selection Board uses a two-part objective written exam to select candidates for these posts. Here is how it works:
- Part A: A mandatory qualifying test in the Punjabi language (Matriculation standard). You must score at least 50% to pass.
- Part B: A merit-determining written exam consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there is a negative marking of 1/4 mark for each incorrect answer.
- Shortlisted candidates based on Part B scores will be called for document verification and counseling.
- Final placement depends on the Common Merit List and available category-wise posts.
