Shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of criteria set by the University.

Candidates who have submitted applications by hand or by post and are found eligible after scrutiny will be informed through the University website Interview.

The date/schedule of interview will be informed later through email or University website to those candidates who are found eligible for the post of Instructor (Yoga). Any further changes in the schedule will be communicated through the University website www.graupunjab.org.

Candidates must bring hard copy of filled application form and all original educational qualification and experience documents (along with one set of self-attested photocopies) before the Selection Committee on the date of interview.

Appointment to these posts will be purely temporary and will be governed by the terms and conditions prescribed by the University. This will not form any basis for regular appointment in this University.

The appointment will be for an initial period of one year, which can be extended on the basis of half-yearly performance reports.

The appointments may be terminated at any time by either party by giving one week’s notice to the other party.

The competent authority reserves the full right to cancel the interview and not fill all or any of the posts.

• Candidates working in any organization including private organizations, claim previous experience of working in Government. Departments/Autonomous Bodies/Universities under the Central/State Government must attach a certificate from the Government organization stating that no vigilance or disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against them.
• Candidates already working on regular basis in any college, institute or university must apply through proper channel and attach “No Objection Certificate” from the employer stating that in case of their selection, they will be allowed to join the said post.
• The experience of any candidate will be considered only when the experience certificate is attached.
• No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate in respect of submission of application form or appearance in examination/interview.
• No inquiry in person or in writing will be entertained for recruitment.
• No document will be accepted or considered by the University after the candidate has submitted the copy of the online application form and no request for change thereafter will be considered or permitted.
• Any dispute regarding this recruitment will be subject to the courts/tribunals having jurisdiction over the State of Punjab.
• Any candidate who is currently studying must continue his/her studies through distance learning mode only and submit an undertaking stating that his/her studies will not be affected due to his/her engagement as Instructor Yoga. After selection as Instructor Yoga, the candidate will have to take prior permission for this.
• If at any stage, it is found that the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria, his/her application will be summarily rejected. Therefore, the candidates on their part must ensure that they fulfill the necessary eligibility criteria prescribed in the advertisement for the post applied for.
• Any candidate who was earlier recruited under the ‘CM DI Yogshala’ project and whose services have been terminated; They are not eligible to apply against this advertisement.
