RRB Paramedical Selection Process & CBT Pattern 2026
The recruitment process involves a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.
- Total Questions: 100 Objective Type MCQs.
- Duration: 90 Minutes (120 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates with a scribe).
- Sections:
- Professional Ability (Domain Subject) – 70 Marks
- General Awareness – 10 Marks
- General Arithmetic, Intelligence & Reasoning – 10 Marks
- General Science – 10 Marks
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS – 40%, OBC/SC – 30%, ST – 25%.
How to Apply Online for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026
Eligible candidates can apply exclusively through the online mode. Follow these steps for successful submission:
- Visit the unified RRB application portal at rrbapply.gov.in.
- Click on “Create an Account” if you are a new user. Keep your active mobile number and email ID handy, as they cannot be changed later.
- Authenticate your identity via Aadhaar/DigiLocker for a smoother verification process.

- Choose only ONE RRB. Applying to multiple RRBs will lead to the rejection of all your applications and potential debarment.
